- Two-thirds think he’s a socialist, 57 percent a Muslim—and 24 percent say “he may be the Antichrist.”

-----

- 67 percent of Republicans (and 40 percent of Americans overall) believe that Obama is a socialist

- 45 percent of Republicans (25 percent overall) agree with the Birthers in their belief that Obama was “not born in the United States and so is not eligible to be president”

- 38 percent of Republicans (20 percent overall) say that Obama is “doing many of the things that Hitler did”

New Harris Poll Finds Nearly One Fourth of Republicans Believe Obama May Be the Antichrist | Firedoglake

It's always better to fight your president to prove him wrong though? That way everyone comes out stronger right?

Who cares what Dems think? Not even Dems care what Dems think, which is why they post poll results about GOPers rather than poll results about Dems.

Well, Obama is absolutely 100% doing some of the things that Hitler did! He's breathing, for one! I hear that's the first step towards genocide!

It appears that the "lunatic fringe" of the conservative movement is steadily becoming "mainstream".

Well, that will put them right up with the mainstream of the Lib/Progressives too, huh?

We will then be ruled by one lunatic fringe or the other - right now - the other.

I think the most relevant statistic is that 100% of Americans put too much faith into people who are simply people.

Think of politics like a baseball game between the Yankees and Red Sox.

Both fans hate eachother for no reason, and are extremely annoying. Both teams present an image of rivalry and 'stand' for different things.

In the end they swap players, one teams wins the pennant, then the other. At some point you realize this is a sport, and the players are in it for the money. They use the emotions of their constituents to keep their 'feud' in the headlines while laughing all the way to the bank.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Somehow these greedy corrupt f**ks get regular hard-working Americans to start to hate eachother, even though we are all kindred spirits far more so than the ruling elite.

Wake the f**k up people.

Ronald Reagan is an actor and a FCINO.

Reagan raised taxes and triple the national debt.

By the way, there is no Anti-Christ or Christ. It's a fairy tale.

It's been quite awhile since I've seen a dumber "news" story get published.

When did we hear these types of questions asked when Bush was in office and he was being accused of being every horrible thing under the sun by liberals?

I'm guessing that the left needs an excuse why Barry's poll numbers are tanking. It can't be because he's engaged in some really, really bad policy decisions. It's got to be that a good portion of America is crazy.

Gotcha!

I can think of another individual who developed an elaborate and stubborn social theory to justify his superiority and the sense that the Powers That Be were conspiring against him. A certain excitable German who rose to power and took his anger out on an unwitting public. If you said Hitler, you'd be wrong. His name is Günter and he runs the coffee shop by my house.

It's really too bad I don't give enough of a damn to replace the "O" in Obama's name with an asterisk every time I type it, because that'd be damn funny.

Pure nonsense, and a typical stereotype, to attempt to "prove" a point. I've voted Democrat most of my life, and I thought Obama would bring more change than he has (I'm disappointed, in that he's not been progressive enough), but the sad reality is that people on both sides of the aisle are becoming more easily hooked by buzzwords and emotion-laden messages, rather than by civil debate, and an attempt to work together. It's a part of the decline of our culture, where we'd rather watch NASCAR and drink Bud swill than learn something and engage ourselves in the process. Our literacy rate is rapidly declining, while our educational systems fall apart, as we become more interested in "reality" TV, and other things that take our minds off what's really happening here. That affects both sides of the aisle.
