I must have deleted one of the PMs. Six, huh? Not bad after 16 years.

This reminds me of a kid talking back to a teacher after walking at graduation (because I saw it happen last night).

One of the previous ones was a joke, so I think I may have somehow guessed correctly.

I remember one was rescinded. I'm not sure how that shows up backstage.

The first one is marked as a "Test infraction" in the comments. Other than that, I think that the points just expire directly instead of after two weeks or whatever.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

How about Gossamer? I retired that username after 4999 posts.

Can someone make my post count 100,000? I just want a taste of those colored stars.

edit: I think I gave the password for Gossamer to Dakar one time for use on April fools or for kicks. That sounds like something I would have done.

I remember now. It was like what just happened where I set myself up for it.

I'm pretty sure I asked what infractions looked like on the CP.

Which brings up a good question - how many people had multiple names (not Ca$h, we all know that).

And of course, Dakar had like 5 (?).

Scandalous Ion Cannon had a good number.

Ugh no, but I can imagine.

It's been bad enough in here with the console fanboys/haters. I don't want to have to "debate" Macs and iOS all over again.

Also.... if it's possible to backup/restore and host this same forum somewhere else, that would be awesome. (Of course that all depends on who actually owns the 'bits').

I wonder how much space it takes up after so long.

That's not what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about the ads. All. Over. The. Place.

On the left side.
On the top.
Sliding in mid-read.
Mid-thread.
With audio, without audio.

It's awful. Just go to android central's forums and you'll see.

From what I can see, Dakar had at least 6 including the Hetfield one, Kevin at least 11, bstone around that number as well and Rob's were too many to list. Other than that, there are a lot who changed their name once to avoid a ban or because they wanted to distance themselves from an old persona.

Cheers. Tough balance to keep no doubt. Too many ads you loose people, too few ads you loose revenue.

It wasn't quantity. The ads made sound, or were offensive, or scroll themselves down the page...

I'm more than willing to Adblock-whitelist sites I want to support, but not when bullshit like that happens.
