I am currently running OS 9.1 and I'm having Help Viewer trouble. The links that should actually perform an operation, like "Open Memory Control Panel for me..." aren't working.

I have Help Viewer v. 1.5...I have played around enough with this that I suppose it is possible that this HelpViewer must be updated??

Which is the correct version and where can I get it without updating the whole system again.

---Thanks

I have 9.1, and my version is 1.6.2, with a creation date of Nov. 16, 2000.

If you have an OS 9.1 CD, you should be able to re-install just Mac Help by doing a custom install.

Version 1.63 of the Help Viewer is part of the CarbonLib 1.31 SDK, which can be found at ftp://ftp.apple.com/developer/Development_Kits/CarbonLib_1.3.1GM_SDK.img.bin .

Thanks much.

My problem is solved, but now let's see how much trouble I can get into with that SDK...
