Is it this site or my installation or normal?

When loading about 4 tabs from MacNN fora, or when going back and forward, my safari is totally unresponsive. Cannot select other tabs, buttons, anything. Its been bugging me for a while, then I thunk -- ask!

Plenty of ram on a G4 466... other's experience?. I should try Camino, I suppose.

It's pretty fast on my iBook600, if you ask me.

The only problem would be http://pocket.ign.com.. it takes like 30 seconds to load in safari and omniweb.

What's up witht he gay thing? Is it a joke or what?

Yeah, remember in the lounge yesterday a new member posted saying he was 14 years old and gay and it went to two pages long in a few hours before being locked.

And to possibly fix the speed problem... how much RAM do you have? Also, try repairing the permissions and log out then back in (if you don't want to restart).

Well, joking aside, my Safari has gone really slow since updating the now-withdrawn 10.2.8. Only on a couple of sites, but including my horse-racing site, so this is SERIOUS man! CPU usage when downloading goes up to 100% (iPulse) and it never happens. MInd you IE is not great either, but Safari is a disaster. frsutrating as I love Safari really.

I read a post a while back that deleting the icons in the Library's Safari folder can help speed it up in some cases...
