So I have bought a new copy f Tiger, but I wanted to transition as smoothly as possible.

Can someone give a brief breakdown of how to do a clean install and then retain as many preferences as possible.

Can you copy Applications over or is it better to reinstall?

Can you copy your ~/Library/Preferences over?

And what about your documents, work - I presume you copy this over after completing the full install?

Please let me know your thoughts

Thanks a lot.
