http://objective.jesussave.us/propaganda.html#APPLE

the site has an article, with several addenda, describing why apple is an evil company. i've seen a lot of this before, but never taken this far.

i recommend checking out the site and its links. you'll either get a good laugh out of it, will be furious, or will complacently agree. i personally came out confused and worried for humanity.

also i'll post a poll about whether you think this site is serious in intention or not (this post has *everything!*).

btw, i saw this site linked to from the san francisco morning fix column by this guy: http://www.sfgate.com/columnists/morford/ (an interesting read)

That is literally about the tenth time I've seen this posted. Good effort, though.

I call satire on the site, though. I don't think people can be so stupidI hope not, anyway.

If a thread is posted in the woods and nobody debunks it, is it still a repost?

sorry, i'll try harder next time.

i did a search but couldn't find it here on the forums.

if you look around the site, it's apparent that some genuine work has been put into it, and i'd venture to guess that most satirical pranksters wouldn't have the time (or probably even the energy) available to do this.

for example, they've designed a "4 kidz" page ( http://objective.jesussave.us/kidz.html ) and try to back up their claims scientifically in many linked articles.

now, if it really is a satire, i'm even more confused because it's such an unclear one with not even a little footer saying it's mocking anybody.

It's the extremely subtle hints that give it away. Something about a staff-member and his previous satanism page and all that. Read through their profiles.

And yes, there's also the fact that even for creationists this is over the top.

just because something's ridiculous doesn't mean it's not true.

take the profiles, for example (thanks for pointing me there). lots of the e-mail addresses are from free e-mail providers (not ISPs), which is shady, but by no means clearly indicative of foulplay.

here at uni. i have encountered a lot of people who embrace this type of stuff and use similar tactics. that's why i'm not so ready to dismiss the obscure here.
