anyone remember that one?

I'm running ps7, the latest retroscan is 1.1 and does not work.

Any Pshop gurus out there know a way to recreate the effect?

I happened across this tip. Looking for more ideas...

one of my old favs ..
you can get simular effects using inbult stuff like creating a two tone pattern
(make a two tone strip (say a 1 by 6 pixel gif, where the top half is white and the bottom half is black)
select all and then goto > Edit > define pattern

then you can do a patern overlay ( in Layer > Layer style. > pattern overlay) using this on a layer to create a retroscan type effect.

play with the opacity and the scale till your happy with it, you could try adding snow and dust and scratch type filters to make it grainy.

Hey AD,

Am I reading this incorrectly or are you just looking for how to generate a scan line effect? If so, this link might help:

I remember the retroscan filter. Used it all the time to get our photos on monitors in our 3d renderings to look more 'TV' all the time.

Ahhh, nostalgia...
