Internet traffic tracking software

So here is my problem…
I have 25 plus machines on a local network (currently DHCP but doesn't need to be if a solution requires it to change)
Some of those machines are Windows
Some of those machine are Macs
Here is my requirement...
I need to track the internet usage of the spacific machines (IP Addresses) so I can see who is using the most internet over the month.
now, here's the catch...
I can't install software on to the computers as some of them don't belong to my company.
Any ideas?

oh, one more thing… we are a Mac only office). Our server is a Mac… our desktops are Macs… our laptops are Macs… everything is Mac… (and we don't use, or want to use Parallels or something similar). But we unfortunately just have guests that use Windows PCs (laptops).
ANY suggestion would need done using a Mac, running OSX

Does it need to be by IP or was that just the only option you thought of?
The standard solution is to do it on the switch by port. Use cacti or similar to pull stats over SNMP.

IP was just a thought and we use Netgear Gigabit 48 and 24 port switches. 24 ports are GS524T and the 48 port ones are GS748TS

Those Netgears support SNMP: Manage all ProSafe Gigabit Stackable Smart Switches as though they are one unit from an easy-to-use Web console that can be used to configure all features, as well as monitor and trouble-shoot. These switches also have SNMP (v1, 2 and 3) to collect and track data to monitor the network health, as well as manage devices, and more easily enforce critical IT controls and policies.
Have you tried the web-based interface? It may provide traffic aggregates by port. Would be easier to set up than SNMP monitoring.

Is every machine wired in? Are the guest machines being wired in, or is there wireless access? if there is, wouldn't watching traffic by port on a switch only follow the total traffic from an access point that has been wired into the switch?

All computers will be wired not via wifi
