Speakers not muting after plugging in headphones in XP

Anyone else notice this? The speakers don't mute when you have headphones plugged in... any fix?

use parallels? as far as I know, you're going to have to wait til the next version of bootcamp before that may or may not be fixed.

I can't wait for an updated boot camp, it's functionality is great, but I need to be able to transfer files in between OS's in some more convenient manner. Right now I use my flash drive

It says in the Boot Camp documentation that the speakers will not be muted on any intel mac when external speakers/headphones are plugged in. And this should be in the 'Alternative OS' forum
