Downloaded latest drivers from laptopvideo2go but their modified inf file only seems to work for Vista 32 bit. I also tried the modifier app from driverheaven and that doesn't work at all and Setup just quits with the no hardware message.

Aside from my wondering why you'd want Vista 64 on an MBP, I think it's important to point out that Vista 64 is still rather poorly supported in terms of drivers in general, and drivers for the hardware on your new MBP, especially from some place like "laptopvideo2go", may not be ready for prime time.

As an alternative, why not go to the video system's manufacturer's site and see whether they have Vista 64 drivers. Those should be the VERY latest drivers for that hardware, and there's a good chance they'll be a lot better tested and install better than third/fourth party drivers would be.

It's for 4gb RAM PC gaming entirely.

The drivers are all from Nvidia, they're just not WHQL but they are 64 bit. The problem is the artificial checks that Nvidia setup does which injected INF files help get around.
