There's a video out there somewhere of a bunch of engineering students from Purdue kicking-off a bbq with liquid oxygen. It goes quite well. But, they kinda knew what they're doing.
It wasn’t just students. There was a professor in on that. They got a cheap charcoal grill, filled it with charcoal, then timed how long it took for the coals to get to “the right temperature” for cooking.
For fans playing at home, the method for embedding YouTube videos goes like this...
The youtube url for the video looks like this: youtube.com/watch?v=UjPxDOEdsX8
To embed the video, you only need the alphanumerical garbage at the end of the url, the UjPxDOEdsX8. You then have to manually type “youtube” in brackets, and add the UjPxDOEdsX8.
The code will look like this (but without the space between the first bracket and “youtube”. Even though it’s in a code box, if the space isn’t there, I get the video.)

And, why is the code box so goddamned big? It’s one friggin’ line of code.
They're lucky the fuel didn't ignite when it released itself. And I wonder what happened to the repair checklist. Maybe one of the security dogs ate it?
As it is, this may be repairable. Some military planes replace the wings periodically to extend lifespan (the A-10), others take them off for shipping and/or storage. But someone's going to pay.
A similar “oops” happened with a KC135, but with a different test. They were testing internal pressurization, and as noted in the text on the site, the civilian doing the test was using a homemade gauge and no formal procedure. Write off one KC135:

I just figured out my work doesn't block the redd.it links, but it does block gfycat, which is why I haven't been able to see the last page or two of goodies.
1) B-52, Guam, 2016
2) No death
3) Birdsuck during takeoff
4) Might have lit on fire due to overheated landing gear being snapped into the fuselage when the plane left the runway
IIUC, they lost three out of four right engines, and the fourth appeared to be in the process of dying.
Also, the drag chute didn’t completely open.
It’s possible there might not been much scraping on concrete. Gear was still intact until it left the runway, and it managed to clear some of those orange thingies.
A flock of birds then, not a single birdsuck. A pilot's nightmare.
The tire skids continue, but the engine skids only appear at the walkway. So the landing gear collapsed, dumping the plane to belly-skid to a stop. Ignition sparks could come from the walkway, the scraping belly, or even the busted landing gear. Landing lights are often attached to gear on big planes.
Looks like it had aux fuel tanks attached too, which couldn't have helped. More fuel to leak, and more weight fighting takeoff.
