Hmmm... It was up for a minute just now. I didn't see anything different though, and I managed to check the iMacs, Power Macs, iBooks, and Xserves. However, when I clicked on the displays it was back down again. And now the whole store is back down. Hmmm...

Now it just says "Oops! An error has occurred during your session. Please return to the Store Menu to continue shopping." when I open the page.

Now I'm curious. That is the first time that I have received that message, very interesting. Why not go wild, maybe this will be the long awaited dual 3 GHz G5.

Weird... the nav bar on the store page has reverted to the old, less glossy bar with the blue Apple.

[edit: nevermind, now they have the newer style nav bar again. ]

True, but they sometimes do this and come back with awesome upgrades or even completely new products.

Some 12 year old hacked the Apple Store and tried to replace all the .gifs with pictures from rotten.com causing the temporary shut down?

WHO CARES!?!

So they took their store down. Maybe they were migrating their servers. It's no big deal.

No, really. It isn't.
