Hi,

So I have a macbook core duo and i wanted to upgrade it to 2 GB of ram from crucial. I just wanted to install the ram when I realized that the people at apple support screwed up royally when they replaced my HDD. They screwed in the middle screw of the L-bracket so that you can't get out anymore, i.e. it is an at an angle and sticks out a little. Anybody have any experience with what happens when apple support screws up like this? It is only 50 bucks, but what when my HDD dies again on me?

Thanks for any advice.

Cheers,

Biest

My first thoughts would be to take it back into Apple Support and bring it to their attention.

Seconded. They broke it, they should fix it.

I wouldn't let this slip either. If you try to manipulate it and break something, Apple will consider you to have voided the warranty.

Agreed with the above - take it in and get them to sort it, otherwise it will just end up causing you issues in the future!
I free'd my mind... now it won't come back.
