Pick your flavor. For bonus points, specify raw, microwaved, toasted, or other.

Frosted brown cinnamon sugar.

Frosting is a must. I stopped eating them however, because I was finding batches tasted completely different, with one being god-like and the other being barely edible. Leaned towards raw.

Raw if I'm lazy. Microwaved for 17 seconds if I'm slightly less lazy. Toasted if I'm unusually motivated.

Also, one of my greatest childhood wins was when I wanted to get Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tarts but my mom refused because of the "sugar" in the name. She suggested I get something healthier like the strawberry or cherry flavor. I pointed out that both of those "fruit" flavors had more sugar in them than the brown sugar flavor. Laminar: 1, Mom: 0.

Yes. I'm getting a bunch of "Server too busy" errors. I directly attribute that to the overwhelming popularity of my poll.

zapped was my least favorite option. I'd toast before that.

More sugar in the Whole Foods brand than regular Pop Tarts, though at least the Whole Foods uses actual sugar and not HFCS.

brown sugar frosted, toasted. microwave if no toaster, raw only if living in the woods after nuclear holocaust/alien invasion and the fuel for the generator is too precious to waste on poptarts.

A humorous rumor has it that my honorable neighbor has been harboring an odd behavior; he likes pop tarts in all of their splendor, but goes through the labor to remove the colored frosting.

Nowadays if I actually buy Pop Tarts I go strawberry or blueberry un-frosted. Probably haven't bought them in over a year, don't have much of a sweet-tooth.

ooh, red velvet - now we're getting obscene.

I used to love pop tarts until I realized they were 200 calories each 'pastry', and each pack of two = 2 servings.
Now I only like pop tarts as a friend.

Blueberry, toasted.

Anyone put butter on a pop tart? I know people who do. Crazy people with bad taste.

I never really eat them. I probably eat about 2-3 pop tarts a year on average.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

I can see butter on the brown sugar one, but then there are people who put butter on everything, including butter.

btw last time I indulged on PTs must at least 10 years or more ago. I won't eat them anymore because of the gelatin.
But I would put peanut butter on the blueberry frosted ones when I was in the mood.

You should have seen the celebrations in the streets when that flavor was released.

Back when I was a kid (in the days before they made frosted Pop-Tarts ), my mom got the brown sugar cinnamon variety for herself. We would toast them, and then spread butter on them while hot. Yum!

made the mistake of eating an organic health food version of a Pop Tart.
It was like eating slightly sweetened cardboard with unsweetened jam.

Some things just need to be unhealthy to be good.

Don't ever cook with lard, then. You'll never want to go back to canola/veg oil again.

I'm sure that exists. Seeking out traditional comfort foods but for vegetarians/vegans can be an interesting adventure. though an often disappointing one.

Whole Foods has all kinds of nasty organic, vegan Hot Pocket ripoffs, they're best avoided at all costs.

I'm not a 'foodie', but I'll pass on anything 'organic' let alone vegan, etc.

This weekend I had Duck Confit with sliced potatoes cooked in the duck fat. This was accompanied by a fairly good Bordeaux. Then a ewe's milk cheese and then a gateau basque (cherry filling not cream). I didn't have an armagnac. My in-laws rock.

Well, this place is decent, as are this place and this place. But it's certainly not the type of food we'd make a family gatherings.
