I have an old s900 (upgraded to G3/400) that my kids use to surf the net. My 4 year old tried to use the cd tray as a step (not a good idea). So, I am looking for a cheap cdrw drive to replace it with. What do I need in order to install a cheap IDE drive in it. Or does anyone make a cheap SCSI CDRW.

Hi Nitram,
I woudl suggest getting VST ultratek-66 card I think you can find them for between $50-$75), and then a cheap IDE around $50. The IDE drives are much more common and easy to come by.
good luck!
