Coney and Kilby are just flavors of the day. Their shows won't be remembered long after their deaths like the greatness that was Thicke of the Night.

I agree 100%. He used way too much inside joke and it's becoming old fast.

Good thing NBC dumped him.

My vote goes to Conan. Never really felt the oldies, but there's a little bias there.

Did you see Conan's 10th Anniversary special? It was friggin' hilarious.

Someone posted it yesterday and I grabbed it and watched it again last night. It's very good. Andy Richter was great on that show.

Yeah, I haven't even heard of the "memorable" Stephanie whatever, and I've never seen that Thicke guy but I've heard his name before.

I like Arsenio and Chevy okay, but I didn't even know Magic Johnson had a late night talk show.

Conan pwnz all of j00. Go ahead and say what you will about him being a poser, he's hilarious. Leno is okay too but very tame. Letterman is a loser and he's not really funny. Isn't Craig Kilborn the guy who's on after Letterman? I think I saw his show once... it truly was a TALK show in that there was little more than TALK going on, not really any laughing.

"That's Mama Luigi to you, Mario!" *wheeze*

Yo, hold up a sec. Early eighties Letterman changed everything. that whole thing the wannabes try to have- edge, self-deprecating sarcasm - Dave invented it. And it worked perfectly because Johnny was just Mr. Perfect. I mean Conan's funny and all, but he just seems to be trying so hard. Dave thing was like I don't really care, I know I'll never be Carson so let's just mess around. Of course he's no longer the same, but sometimes you get glimpses.

Also I still think they should've given John Stewart Conan's spot.

Dave would go on the street, all the time to cause trouble. Conan seems a bit pale, he should get out of that studio more.

That's what America needs, an openly gay talk show host. Do you think he'd get to interview Colin Powell?

And what about Parkie...?

Of the poll options, Arsenio is the clear winner.

In reality, the answer is Johnny Carson, closely followed by Letterman. Leno is extremely unfunny, Conan is pretty good, Craig Kilborn, eh, I could do without him.

Kilborn for me. Although Conan and Letterman are great too.

Just wanted to add this:

"Craig Kilborn has taken a personal vow to make his show the top-rated late night program on any network sometime toward the end of February Sweeps during the 2012-2013 television season. In the interim, he is totally committed to making the show 'significantly above average.' "

LOL! Don't strain yourself, Craig...

See, I only watch Conan cause it is on after Leno. I mean, you watch one show of Conan's and u have seen them all. Every fr*ckin show it is the same...2 jokes and he just keeps repeating:

"We got a great show tonight. We really do! I say this every night, but tonight we do."

He says it like 50000 times. And it is the same every night. Ummmm

I just keep it on cause it's after Leno!

For the same reason Arsenio Hall, Chevy Chase, Stephanie Miller, Magic Johnson, and Alan Thicke are on there. Until I read the second sentance in your post I thought you meant Carson Daley.

This was supposed to be a humor thread. I thought that the poll choices were a clue to that, but no one here is participating!

Conan's a million times funnier than Jay. Jay was funny a long time ago, when he was just a stand-up comedian, but ever since he got the show he has been so damn boring and unfunny. And he's a terrible interviewer too. He just sits there laughing at the guests' little jokes with his annoying laugh. Unwatchable. And those terrible comedy bits he does, like Jaywalking and Iron Jay...dreadful. Every time I turn over to Leno thinking maybe tonight is the night he'll be funny I am sorely disappointed. But of course he's number one in the ratings because he's the kind of non-offensive safe "humor" that most Americans lap up. Also, Jay Leno has disgraced the name of a show that used to be the best thing about late night television. Way to go, Jay. Good job.
