Hi,

I got an old 190cs powerbook from work today, and I want to use it to save important, private information on it.

I have heard about PGP but it is for powerpc only, which my old machine is not. Does anyone know a good and most importantly SAFE encryptionpackage that might also be for free?
Would a PPC tool work on a non-powerpc ?

micha,

I think you can get the 6.0.2 or something like that version of PGP. I have it running on my 190cs and it working great. What is even better, it is including the PGP Disk Utility for free! (Its not in the 6.5.1 Freeware package.)
