so i bought the white macbook 13" a few months ago and i guard it with my life..and i put in in a neoprene case evernight or when i m not using it....but y r there so many hairline scratches on the front cover and is there a way to prevent or rid of them??

You can use Apple Polish and a ton of elbow grease to minimize them.

If you want to protect it, go for a stick-on skin. Invisibleshield (zagg.com) and uniqueskins are two options.

You could also try one of the hardshells for the MacBooks as well. Both Speck and InCase make shells.
