looks cool, but feels a bit weird.
I think I will test it for some days (in a lefty version of course) and see if it's better when I got used to the new cursor. 
btw: a cursor set would be good looks a bit weird if the copy cursor appears.

I would suggest if it feels a little strange, that you size it down one step in MM. The cursor still looks good, and is closer the mind/eye/hand expectation...

I just wanted you to know, that the thumbs down provides a plethora of really well-writen constructive criticism for possible changes or updates to the cursor. To boot, I am sure this comment is going to help a great deal when I actually finish the cursor set.
