hi, i have a SCSI Drive that always worked fine until i moved it into my 7200, now when that 7200 or any other mac turns on and looks for a boot disk the HD shuts off! so i added a second drive already set as a boot disk, and then any mac will just sits there with a gray screen (if both of them are in). whats the problem with the HD shutting off? thanks!

is the termination of your hd right? do your hd have set the same id?
there are switches on your hd, to set them you will get help on the homepage of the manufacturer of your hd.

Nope, they have different ID's, in drive setup it tells me the first working HD is ID 0, and the one that doesnt stay on is ID 6, and when i do rescan bus, it spins it up, and shuts it off again only to say there is no drive there.
