Hello,
I have a iMac/233 rev.B, he is broken, but the harddrive is ok. Now my question is it possible that I plugin the Hardive on a iMac DV (not the new)? Sorry for my english.....
Thanx!

I believe it is possible, but the iMac DV has a larger hard drive than the Rev B. You may want to just move your files and applications to the new hard drive. You can get an external drive case(about US $100) that attaches to the DV through a USB interface. If you do this, you have your new hard drive and you have an extra hard drive for backup purposes.

Paul:

Please, do not apologize for your use of English - as with many Europeans, you probably have a working knowledge of SEVERAL languages which is more than most of we North Americans can claim!

Good luck.

Hmmm...That's a good question. You could probably get an outlet adapter but I don't know if it would affect the HD. I will look around; does anyone else know?

theimac.com has a description of the IDE to USB case. Within the review it states:

"The McPower case in particular has a universal power supply so it will work anywhere in the world."

I cannot prove this claim so I can only repeat what the review stated. Read the article here:
http://www.theimac.com/usb_ide_case/drive_case.shtml

I hope this helps!
