When you click on "Check for updates" with FF6, if there is an update available, Firefox now starts downloading the update almost immediately. Is there any way to increase the time elapsed before that download starts?

Under its preferences > advanced, there's an option to ask what to do instead of download and install. That's the only thing that comes to mind.

I am talking about increasing a delay, not an alternative action. I disabled three settings for app update, but if I click Check for Updates and if there is an update available, downloading still starts. If I could increase the time between the message showing that there is a new version, and the download start, I could stop it before it starts.
