They've all been produced in a country which has forgotten how to farm properly because of putting quantity over quality? This kind of thing is going to happen if you do stuff like tinker with the genetic codes of everything around you without really knowing what the outcome will be. We had a couple of recent lessons modern agriculture lately, now they're having theirs.
