The ITEM HAS BEEN SOLD.

Thanks,

g

Newton u2000 (upgraded to 2100)
Newt Keyboard and case
Wavelan Silver WiFi Card
32MB Pretec Card
33.6 Hayes Fax/Modem
Original Stylus
Weighted, Professional Stylus
9W Fast Charger
(2) Serial Adaptors (one still in packaging)
Newt Serial Cable

Battery holds a charge, but that is finicky. I wasn't consistent with it. If you are consistent (charging, using) it will be so with you. The Newt has all it's port coverings and doors. It has a small mark on the screen (scratch; never a problem) and a 1/4 inch crack in the case near the bottom left side. It works well and is a testament to the build quality of the old Apple. It's a beast of a system, I just use it less and less. I paid about $300 for all of it a year (and a half?) ago off of ebay and other assorted places. Take it away for:

SOLD-$160 shipped-SOLD

thanks!

Just lowered the total price. I really want to see this go. I never use it. I have pretty good pics now of the unit, if anyone wants to see the minor scratch/nick.

i will also accept trades.

Specifically I am looking for one of those Linksys Wireless Ethernet Bridges (WET11)...

thanks!

is there any way to get this to hook up with a modern mac? or is it just a stand alone PDA ?

If you have buy a USB-serial adaptor then yes... You can run the Newton Connection Utility in OS9 or Classic.

Also, it can be run via infared.

I would synch with my powerbook via Airport (and the WiFi card). It can also be done via ethernet.
