My roomate and I are having trouble having a LAN party with halo. We are on the same network, but we can't see each others' networks. We have the same problem with Need for Speed. In the ladder case it used to work and now it doesn't. We cannot figure out why. Any ideas?

Can you LAN party with other games? Are you sure both computers have sharing enabled?

It is version 2.0 and we both have Macbooks. We cannot LAN with other games. We have Bluetooth, printer, file, and DVD or CD sharing enabled. Do we need to enable another kind of sharing? Perhaps that's the problem. What kind of sharing should we enable?

If file sharing is enabled and you are running leopard or later then the other computer should appear on your sidebar in the finder, can you see it?

File sharing is enabled and I'm running OS X. The other computer appears in my sidebar, but that doesn't solve the gaming problem...
