That's a great app. I was planning on reformatting my new G5 just get rid of all the useless languages. I tried Monolingual and it's restored 3.2GB of HD space after removing all but U.S English and English language. Thanks to the orignal poster for the link to this app!

this is more of an application thread than a powerbook thread, hence my confusion. not to mention that language removal apps have been around for quite some time now and if one were to check www.versiontracker.com/macintel, one would find lots more universal apps that come in handy.

Gotcha!
Well even tho these apps are old. I'm new to mac and I'm glad people post these things from time to time. Helps make me aware of my options once that book hits my doorstep.
Wiping it clean is still an option. But just getting rid of the extra languages and whatnot sounds pretty safe. I know i wont be needing them.

There are reports that using the language cleaners on applications like Adobe CS2 can cause problems and requiring a reinstall of the app.
