I have posted many complaints about OS9 and the Finder problems I have been having. It seems that the problem acutally lies with the Belkin USB 4 port hub that I had hookded up. I did not run the keyboard through it, but rather an HP 970CSE printer and the Imation Superdisk drive.
Everything, so far, works fine without the hub hooked up. The only problem is that since I have the printer hooked up to the spare USB port in the back the only other place to hook up the disk drive is at the key board.
Has anyone else run into this and is the problem limited to specific hubs?

My MacAlly 4-port hub has been a little difficult ever since I got it, but terribly troublesome since OS9. I have an Asante FriendlyNet USB hub now that is causing no problems and MacAlly is replacing my old hub with one that they say works better.
We'll see.

I thought USB was supposed to be the end-all to connectivity problems?

...and it is - using it ends all connectivity!
Just kidding, but it is still quite flaky, I thinks.
