totally handy for me; something i'd want.

Will it be as skype video or MSN video conferencing first?

No, that's what I called it. It's the usual term for the specification of what data is sent between an IM server and client. AOL uses the OSCAR protocol, MSN uses MSNP15 right now (although Adium only supports MSNP11 so far, sadly), etc...
