I tried using the conventional switch but error pops up.. "...specified file unrecognized or something like that..."
Any suggestions guys?

Is it copy-protected Windows Media crap?
If so, there is nothing you can do except get a Windows system and convert it there.

It might be copy protected, but not necessarily.
ffmpegX should do it for you pretty well.
