I thought I read somewhere on iTunes that we cannot buy music from another country on the iTunes shop. Why cannot we buy from another country? Sweden has the song I want, but I live in the US. Why cannot we just buy the song from the foreign country?

Dunno exactly why, but you can always buy an iTunes gift card from Sweden and buy the music that way.
Dunno how legal that is though.

You can buy music from anywhere through YOUR COUNTRY'S iTunes store-if it's offered there. The issue is licensing, which is country specific and it gets complicated. But with a gift card I don't know how they could tell which country you're from.

Ok thanks a lot.
I'm not sure if I actually want the song, but its a great song. They used to have it on CD here in the US back many years ago, then I looked up somewhere last year and the cost of her CD was $18 from some used seller.
