regarding half life, xanthic contacted me a week or so ago saying he was going to start working on the half life graphics again. haven't heard anything from him since, but i'm hoping this theme actually gets done.

Basically the same as my iBook, but with lots more real estate to play with. Probably going to change it over the weekend. I'm tweaking the pic Fonzie gave me so it doesn't look as pixelated at DTP size

The wallpaper is made by Kagaya.
Icons are Somatic by David Lanham.
Various icons reside in the Dock. Some apps has alternate icons.
The iTunes icon is by demograph68.
Also various Konfabulator widgets reside on the desktop; G4 iTunes Remote, Stickies by, Konsoul, Tiger pseudo Calendar, Haiku Generator 3 and Weather.
I managed to do the same as digitaljames did with that truck icon from Everaldo. I just think his is a touch better. Mine has no shadows as of yet. Even though I did it 2 days ago I still haven't done that yet.
Now that I have critized everybody elses desktops, now it's your turn

Looking good.
Perhaps if you could snatch the texture from the folders and take some Aqua buttons from one of Max's themes(since they are just a tad more crisp than Apple's). And then see if the texture can be applied to those buttons. This time I would rather see round buttons than just the glyphs.
oh, and make the Finder buttons in the same style as the menubar. That woul look rad. I think.

That was just a couple of hours in photoshop. It was not *the* theme, just something thrown together to get the ball rolling. David is very protective of his work so it needs to start with his blessing and not a maybe in the future. There are sooooo many elements to be skinned I don't know if I have the patience or time to complete it all the way through. Perhaps it could be opensource like the watercolor theme?
