So I'm back on a Mac and I love it all over again. When I had my iBook G3 back in the day I never shut it down, I always just put it to sleep and it ran perfectly for years (until the whole logic board issue hit hit me). Now with my MacBook I can't go a few days it seems with just putting it to sleep. What will happen is that all of a sudden my applications won't open. I'll just the continuos bouncing icon in the dock. The only way to fix this is to restart my MacBook. I've read elsewhere that there is an issue with resetting the SMC settings. If that's the case I guess I'll just start shutting down my MacBook at night. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem with their MacBooks or MBPs. Thanks.
