Their message is weak, so they have to be offensive to get their point across.

*shrug* Europeans I think would be far less offended by this ad. I'd say it's mildly amusing satire in bad taste at the most.

Really, Europeans aren't offended by having to watch simulated oral sex by a puppet on a human and then the abuse of women in advertising? What would offend them?

Thank God I live in the USA!

This does, of course, assume that anyone who doesn't agree with Greenpeace is nothing more than a puppet of Bush, because they have such a monopoly on rationality.
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

I am still less offended with that video than with the killings of thousands of civilians via bombings or country invasion....

We never had a clear coherent plan for "winning the peace" in Iraq and a lot of innocent civilians, along with US soldiers, were injured or killed because of that lack of planning.

One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

I know what you mean. Making airliners into flying bombs filled with innocent people and crashing them into tall buildings filled with innocent people is very offensive!

Me too! But do you think the people who set up and funded 9/11 and the London bombings should go unpunished? Now that, is offensive!

No. And we aren't there for the oil either. That is why the ad is offensive.
