On this website, heading back to the main page via a link does work and you do end at the anchor corresponding to the item you just clicked, but unfortunately it loads the page from the top first for a second before jumping to the spot where the anchor is.
Is there some way to prevent this behavior via the DOM or via JavaScript?
I know most browsers handle this differently. IE on a pc jumps as soon as the anchor is loaded, safari i think only jumps until the entire page has finished loading.
The best solution would be to not use anchors, but use a separate page.
