AAAAAAAAA after only 2 days of my iBook the 'E' key has fallen off the keybard!! AAAAAAAA!! and it's not an easy fix of just clicking it back on. THis is so annoying, i'm gonna have to probably send the whole iBook back to be repaired, and it'll take ages! I've already waited 37 days for my iBook, i don't want to wait another few weeks.

Do you think they could just send a replacement keyboard or will they want the whole iBook back?

I free'd my mind... now it won't come back.

Do a search of the forums, and I'm pretty sure you can find instructions on sticking the keys back on. I can swear I've seen it mentioned here somewhere. With a little work, you should be able to get it back on yourself unless, of course, something bent/ broke/ snapped off along the way.

I seem to recall reading somewhere in this forum that Apple will send you a new keyboard. Hope so!!!!!

Yes that can be the worst thing to happen to a guy that has waited long enough for his notebook and then when he finally gets it, he is looking to take it back.

It sucks,

Well I phoned Apple this morning, and they are going to pick up my iBook today and should have it back to me by tomorrow!!! Now that is amazing service, and to think that I live in quite a remote area, that is even more amazing! Whey!!

I tried just to push the key back on, but the clip underneath it seem's to have snapped.

At least I'll be able to revise a bit better for my exams, with my iBook, wherever I revise it's there to distract me
