Well we have a post your rig, and a post your desktop - so how about a post your Dashboard thread?

Here we go... click to embiggen

EDIT: my iDisk is failing to sync... when it does my image might actually load....
I free'd my mind... now it won't come back.

Dashboard widgets (the ones that come with Tiger) are so fscking ugly I can't bear to look at them.

I hope we are treated to a ton of widgets created by people who actually have artistic talent as soon as possible!

Right forum. Though until some more third-party widgets come out, most of these shots will have the same look about them. And what fun is that?

This is a computer-generated message and needs no signature.

If you have the Dev. Tools installed its very easy. Just open the Browser.nib file with Interface builder and in the Inspector window deactivate "has texture" :-)
If you use another language than english you may have to open the .nib package from your language and english and copy the 2 missing files from english to your language nib.

Cept they are doing the same thing in this thread.

http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.p...&goto=lastpost

So this one is redundant.

There is really no need for another "screenshot" thread.

It will work for some windows like the Finder Prefs but not for the normal windows as there seems to be no .nib file for it

Any ideas where to find one of those widgets?

I think this thread is cool as I never go check out the desktop thread. Too many posts. All I want is widgets.

Here is my dashboard, I seriously think that Dashboard is one of the best utilities on a mac, and it has to be artistic and look pretty! By the way, don't be scared, it's a picture of me and my boyfriend up there in the left corner! And -YES- I am gay ... lol just look @ the rainbows
