Yeah i know its early but, speculation is more than welcome. Plus its getting to be around christmas time and I'm starting to feel like receiving, and a new console wouldn't be too shabby. With the playstation 3, revolution, and xbox 2 likely being premiered at this e3 we will have lots of time to speculate on this topic. Not to mention I wanted to be the one to start this thread.

This thread will be dead and buried long before.

So let speculation reign, Lets talk about chipsets, the ps3 will have some sort of cell chip consisting of multiple cores, The xbox2 and revolution will have some sort of powerpc variant, rumored to be the 970fx, for the revolution, possibly 1.8 dual or 2.5 single. for the xbox currently unkown. It seam that all of these consoles will likely use ati for their graphics. The revolution will allegedly bring a gaming revolution in its wake, while the others will just have better graphics. We wil see if this holds true at the next e3.

Maybe they did go with nvidia, couldn't quite remember that one. We might as well bring up the weird thing with nintendo and nec. Do you think the revolution will include a screen?

Time for a quick bump:
the xbox 360 has been revealed, faceplate big power button etc, the revolution is three dvd cases thick and is backwards compatible.

What im looking forward to:
-Nintendo Revolution. And details about it's online service that will come with the system (pricing model spicifically).
-PS3. design, controller, online service busness model.
-XBox 360. i'll be looking at what the emphasis are on. So far it seems like they have integrated a PVR and a souped up XBox1 to make the 360.
-Games.... Zelda, Mario 128, Prince of Persia III, anything from Silicon Knights
-PSP and NDS sales data from SONY and Nintendo
-I'd like to hear about shipping dates of all 3 consoles as well.
-I would be pleasantly surprised to see XB360 demos running on PMG5s as well
-Info on the next GameBoy would be interesting.
Anyone know if anything will be webcast ? i remember last year Nintendo had it's keynote webcast. If anyone has any info could you post links, please ?
Cheers.

Now is definitely a better time for this thread.
I'm not much of a gamer anymore, definitely not like I used to be, but E3 is still a fairly exciting time of the year. Especially this year with the new console introductions on the way. One can't help but get excited about this sorta thing.
What I'm looking forward to:
-Details on the next GameBoy Advance successor
-Details on the next official Zelda sequel and whether or not Nintendo decides to keep it a GC title, or bump it up to a Revolution title. Kind of like what they did with Dinosaur Planet
-I want the full scoop on Revolution and PS3
-I want to hear more about FF12, and more Square goodness
-A new Mario, hopefully Nintendo won't make the same mistake that they made with GameCube. Luigi's Mansion, Mario Sunshine: No thank you!

Same here on the Mario bit. I imagine that will be a Revolution launch title. It damn well better be. If not, I'll still live if it's a GC game. What I'd like to see: a new Mario title that revisits the Mario Bros. 2 universe—well "universe" in that it was all a dream, after all. That would be really cool. I loved the enemies and characters from Mario Bros. 2. Hell, or even the Super Mario World universe.
Looking forward to:
• PS3/Revolution talk.
• Revolution online plans more in depth.
• Possibly next Game Boy.
• Some killer DS software, please!
• Some killer PSP software (or at least interesting), please!
• Any tricks and surprises Nintendo plans on pulling out of its cap.
• Revolution titles, screens, specs, anything. I really would like to see some franchise teasers (Metroid, Zelda, etc.), even if they are tech demos (bashers are always looking for something new to whine about, after all).
• Zelda, Zelda, Zelda!
• Pilotwings? Please?
