I want to use the internal drive on a time capsule as a media server. If I plug another USB2 drive into the Time Capsule for use as a Time Machine backup drive, will it backup the internal drive to the external drive (along with my other drives connected to my computer)?

Time machine only backs up the boot volume, no?

No. I have two external FireWire drives daisy chained. I use one for media and one for time machine. I can backup my internal drive and the media drive to my time machine drive. I'm just not sure if time machine will also backup networked drives.

Does anyone know how to do this? Or how to use Time Machine to backup a drive connected to a Time Capsule (or Airport Extreme)?
I would really like to use a networked drive for media, but it has to get backed up.
