Any ideas about whether the keyboard on the macbook can be locked, the way you lock your mobile phone keyboard? I have a pair of little hands trying to type while I am working on it (and not needing to use the keyboard), and it is not always convenient to get the mac out of the way. thank you

Get a bluetooth model and switch it on/off at the keyboard or by enabling/disabling bluetooth.

Failing that you could use keyboard cleaner and perhaps hide the app so you can keep working on screen (it blanks the screen normally, so I'm not sure about this..!)

Hmm, I guess my keyboard is fairly dirty...

Doh, Macbook, forget bluetooth, maybe get a bit of plywood, some hinges and some glue, then create the worlds first anti-matic-keyboard-disable-o-tron-thingy?!?!

Gees, hard day for me I guess, sorry for being inept!

You could lock the screen (unless you want them somehow using your MacBook, just not the keyboard)?
