Just recently I copied some photo from Photo Booth to a desktop folder. When cropping the jpeg it caused my OS to crash. Sometimes it would show a gray screen with no instructions. Thus I had to force shut down and restart. Other times the gray screen appeared with a notice that there was some problem (really?) and that I should restart my computer. This did not occur every time, but, out of 15 jpegs it crashed 5 times. Does anyone have this problem? If so, how do you correct it? I am using a 2014 MacBook Pro, OS 10.9.5. Thanks ahead for your assistance.

Hi there,

You took the photo in Photobooth, were you cropping in Preview, Photoshop, or does PhotoBooth do that too? Can you open the images in other apps?

I took the photos in Photo Booth, copy and pasted them into a desktop folder and then opened them in Preview, where I did the cropping.
