It's Final Cut Express.. I think the Final Cut Pro icon does look like the iMovie and iDVD icons. Once Apple conquers making the aqua window widets uniform in brushed metal apps maybe then we can see icon consistancy

Here's my dock...

It's usually minimised, and I use launchbar to open apps so don't have much on it. Those applications up to word are the ones that stay there.

Also remove most of the icons from my dock such as Proteus, TuneCam, Audion etc.

Aldie G where can i score the icon for your download folder?

http://ids.org.au/~njgrundy/osx-desk10.png

I include a full screenshot due to the magnifing, normaly hidden, vertical nature of my dock.

You may now all go on about how you're going to linch me or something for not having my dock in the 'true dock location' or something. Or because I actualy like the dock and don't use any third party apps

Also for the record I personaly don't notice any system slowdowns even when in low cpu power mode when navigating the dock.

Iconographer

From the website:

Iconographer is a fully-featured icon editor. It allows you to both change the icons of items and to edit the icon resources used by various programs. Iconographer has been created from the ground up to deal with many icon formats, including: classic Mac OS (8-bit icons only), Mac OS 8.5+ (32-bit icons with 8-bit masks), Mac OS X (128 x 128 icons in .icns files), Windows and Windows XP (.ico files), and Mac OS X Server (48 x 48 icons in .tiff files).

Due to its flexibility, Iconographer is useful to both beginners and advanced users. It can be used for a wide range of tasks, ranging from simply creating some customized folder icons to editing complex resource files for an application to converting icons between platforms.

I prefer Iconbuilder pro ( photoshop plug-in ), but it's more expensive...

I'm not exactly sure what Lotus Notes is/does. FirstClass is a server/client type software. I like to think of it as a glorified FTP server. It allows for mailboxes, messageing, conferences, chat, file serving, etc. It puts a nice Mac-like front end on it (not particularly OS X-like though).

For dividers, do a search in the GUI forum and there you can find some. Personally I use clear ones which make for an amazing effect.

I threw this up on my iDisk. Hopefully it's what you're looking for. To use them, drag the divider to the documents side of the Dock and it will slide over to the Applications side.

Question I've wondered about for a while now. Why do people (other than developers making preference panes) bother keeping the System Preferences application in their dock? Since preferences are typically set once and ignored for a while (anyone really need to change their preferences on an hourly basis?), and since System Preferences has a permanent menu item in the Apple menu, doesn't it make more sense to remove it from your dock and reclaim some usable screen space?

I use the System Preferences all of the time. I change Startup Disks, change Screensaver, Software update and the like. But mostly Startup Disks. I find myself opening it up for other misc. reasons from time to time too. Good point about it being in the Apple Menu though. I seem to forget what's all in that menu. Don't access it much.

my dock is simple. it is vertical on the right side and has finder, mail, camino, itunes, and adium on it at all times. and whatever else im running. i dont like having shortcuts to anything im not running. and to launch progs, i use launchbar (command-space war3 ), so i dont need app shortcuts in the dock.

how would i post mine using apache, just drag a jpg into the sites folder?
