Man, that is too bad. I loved him back in the day, he kinda fell apart towards the end though. Sad.

Kirby was a heck of a ball player, so fun to watch. He had a joy for the game that few show at the "Show."

I remember him bouncing off the Hefty bag to make amazing catches, and of course hitting that home run in the Series.

I know he's struggled since retirement - that "groping" incident. Divorce. Etc. Plus he had glaucoma and blindness in one eye.

RIP Kirby. I'll remember you for the good stuff!

Even when he took out the Jays in '91, you still had to like him.

Actually, it's being reported that he was really 45. There was some mention of his birth year being mis-reported.

My prayers go out to the family and friends of Kirby Puckett. May he rest in peace,

That is sad, and quite unexpected. I really enjoyed watching him play growing up.

What a weird name, that Kirby Puckett. Seemed like a decent human being and a good player. He certainly knew how to stroke his bat.

Now, now. Please just leave a tip.
I, ASIMO.

He will be missed. What a great ball player he was. May he play forever on the big baseball diamond in the sky.
