Just Mobile has announced the launch of its new backup battery at IFA 2014, the TopGum. A portable power pack clad in unibody aluminum, TopGum features a tangle-free Lightning cable and a magnetic recharging dock, for recharging without the need to find additional cords. The TopGum's capacity allows for an iPhone to charge up to three times, or top up an iPad mini to 75 percent. Also featured is a standard USB connection, meaning USB-powered devices can be recharged, and TopGum's internal batteries can be refilled when its dock is out of reach. The TopGum backup battery is priced at $80.

USB 3.0 Magic Hub introduced, mounts to back of iMac, Apple Monitor

Mobee Technology has unveiled its new 4-port USB 3.0 hub this week at IFA 2014, the Magic Hub. The device sits at the back of an Apple iMac or Apple Monitor, as it is powered by the main power cord of either Apple product. Featuring four USB 3.0 ports, the Magic Hub offers 2.1 amps of power output per port. The hub remains powered while the iMac or monitor is turned off, and its aesthetics aim to have the device blend in with the display. Available October 2014, the Magic Hub is available for pre-order now for $65.

The hub isn't wireless like wi-Fi wireless.

There's just no power adapter. The imac's play goes directly into it, and there is a pass through to the iMac.

Headline makes it sound like its wireless USB
