I was browsing the other day, and ran across a really cheap deal on an "upgrade bundle" or something like that from one of the big online retailers. It was like $99 or something! I can't find it now for the life of me! Has anybody else seen it? I've checked OWC, smalldog, shreve, sun remarketing, everywhere..

Help?

Found it! If you need a ZIF carrier, and want a 233MHz G3 basically for free, check this out..

ITOMATO,
I'm not sure exactely what you are refering to because your link is only half-alive. As far as I can tell, a used G3/233 DT system is 549 dollars at that place - I just saw the same (without the software bundle - whatever that refers to) at PowerMax Computers for 477 dollars.

Hmm. That's weird. It was working.

This one still does.

266MHz G3 & carrier card for 7300-9600 and clones $149! The 233MHz model I linked to is $10 less. May not be such a great deal, but it seems pretty good to me. A good way to pump up an older system, especially with 168pin 5v FPM DIMMS as cheap as they are right now.
