Actually, I'd wager that at least half of the Lounge regulars already consider their Macs to be Sexbots ...

I think since they have updated the Powerbook, Power Mac, iMac, iApps, & lowered prices, that they will wait till MWNY.

I'll take the sexbox, but knowing how long it takes to build a robot I think it'll take 12 weeks to build each one

I can see it now

You forgot the successor to the Cube in your poll. I predict a "Cube II" sometime this year. You might ask, why would you predict that? Well, cuz I want one, that's why! DAMMIT APPLE! MAKE ME ONE!!

Actually, assuming the sexbot idea is just a pipe dream <g>, I'm going to bet on a 15-inch aluminum Powerbook to replace the TiBook.

I think the iMac with the 17 screen is damn close. I just want the new 20' LCD and I will replace my Cube with it.

oh come on.

You'd need a hell of a base to hold up that 20" screen, it weighs about as much as the imac

Yeah, the 17" monitor on the iMac is what's holding me back from getting one. Just a tad too small for me. That 20"er is just right. And I don't need a tower. Of course, I want the power of a tower without the extra PCI slots and drive bays. And I want the silent factor of the Cube.

APPEASE ME APPLE! NOW!

I REALLY need Apple to update the 15" to be on par with the 12" and 17" models before March when I have to place my order for a Powerbook.

Right, that is why we want a cube + a 20 or 23' screen. Except is should be much cheaper then a tower.

I loved the Cube, but it has about as much chance of coming back as the eMate, Pippin or the Edsel. A shame, tho'...

Wow. People were willing to pay twice as much for half a machine - and still are? Heh.

Scaught: That'd eat into the Towers market, though.

Well, not Apple, but Motorola announced new G4s today. See here.
