I prefer Azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/).

Any reason for creating three different threads concerning the same subject?

First of all, Azureus is a Bittorrent client and therefore not a replacement for Limewire, which is a gnutella client.

Second, Acquisition is horrible nagware.

Try Cabos. It's a free gnutella client that works very well.

Try Cabos or Acqlite. They are both free and have served me well.

Last time I used Acqlite it had horrible memory leaks. Maybe it's better now though.

Yep. I paid the small fee for Acquisition and I'm very happy. It's the best P2P client I've used.

You could try FrostWire. It's the same as LimeWire, but without the annoying nagware dialog during startup. And it has a chat tab.
