I accidentally deleted a large number of entries in my Address Book and would like to restore it from a backup drive. Where is the Address Book database kept? And, can I just drag and drop the backup database to the original's location to restore it?

Address Book data is stored in ~/Library/Application Support/Address Book/

You should be able to move rename that folder and put your backup in its place.

Thanks, I just dragged the backup Address Book folder into ~/Library/Application Support/ to replace the old one and everything is back to normal.
