After many months (on and off) of work, it is almost ready for the light of day.

[notpullingabbx] The theme, as of right now, is around 96% done, all the global elements are finished, there are VERY minor things left. Expect a release incredibly soon. [/notpullingabbx]

Until then, there's this somewhat outdated preview:

Well, if Gia Mia RX were to be a rip-off of soft blue milk as you claim, Brien's preview must be really outdated

Well I do give a f*ck about the theme and the theme looks nothing like blue milk. I can easily understand why ppl don't bother with themeing when there are folks like you around

I agree, randman why do you have to start cursing at the man just because he shows an outdated preview of the theme, he can do what he wants he is the themer! And maybe he is showing that preview so the rest is a suprise. It looks good, i bet the theme will look great when its done!

Awesome! I've been waiting for an update to this theme for ages! It's looking really nice now. Can't wait to use it!

BTW, Randman, you are a tw@t:
  • brien was in no way being a "pr1ck", you oversensitive a$$hole.
  • He certainly did not make anything resembling "a stink" about it being an outdated preview
  • Gia Mia RX looks NOTHING like Soft Blue Milk. Not even close! It has COMPLETELY different widgets, different toolbar buttons, different scrollbars, different everything really, AND is a different color. You might as well say it's a rip off of Aluminium Alloy or something. What ARE you talking about?

I kinda like the preview as it stands now. I just wish that the buttons in the windowtitlebar can be closer together. I think it's a limitation of ShapeShifter1.2!? It's a general thing I've noticed.

Sure jump all over me for responding in kind to his rudeness.
Although there's room for interpretation, I think you mistook his response. As he mentioned it's a "somehwat" outdated preview, which makes me think that's pretty darn close to his latest build. Perhaps a few small tweaks, a slight update the symbols on the widgets etc... Have we seen this particular preview before? Possibly, but if it's new then at least we're seeing something fairly close to the final version. As you can see, it's more than a simple screengrab, it seems like he may of assembled it from scratch. Either way, it probably would have been more effort than it was worth to reassemble a preview for a few minor changes that nobody would have noticed if he hadn't noted it being "outdated".

I don't think he wrote "Because I can, and I'm a gloating smartass " but rather a more joking side comment. I don't think he was personally trying to annoy anyone by posting version 0.95 as opposed to 0.96. I'll let brien respond himself though.

you're the fckwit now, Gia Mia has been around in one form or another since June 2003, and it was announced in February of 2003.

and if you want to argue that Gia Mia is different than Gia Mia RX, then how about this: Gia Mia RX was announced in October of last year.

well when i make snide comments, i usually make sure they're true. since Gia Mia RX was around far before Soft Blue Milk, Gia Mia RX is obviously not a rip-off of Soft Blue Milk. i thought you might have been smart enough to figure that out by yourself, but i was clearly wrong.

I'm having a hard time following this pissing contest... since Sh!t-for-brains, excuse me, I mean Randman deleted all hist posts.

In any case, GiaMia was a great theme, and I recall hearing that he was creating a new version, so I'm excited to hear it's finally going to see the light of day.

And to address the issue of the 'slightly' outdated preview, all that has changed since that is the progressbars, and the titlebar.

And no, I am not pulling a BBX, just to reiterate that.
