Her first single.
I like her in The Phantom of the Opera, she does that well. Most of her solo career seems plagued by ideas and songs that might have been good and original, but are not. She does have a good voice.
Edit: The Phantom of the Opera (yes, the video’s camp as all hell, but the song is good)—shame it’s the crappy recorded studio version, though. Ah, the slightly better recorded version is there, too (thankfully without video).

Steve Harley should stick to Cockney Rebel. Pretty embarrassing that Frank Spencer does a better version than his.

I saw her live in NYC years ago. She's just amazing.

All I've heard of hers was the ubiquitous "Time to Say Goodbye" duet with that tenor nobody would ever have cared about had he not been blind.
That was really atrocious.
I think it took me less than twelve bars of hearing it the first time before I hated it with a passion.
That Hot Gossip number is teh funnay.

Do you think ALW used to make her dress up in her starship trooper gear in bed?

I honestly didn't like her in Phantom. Despite the fact that it was written for her, she has a very piercing voice, and uses too much vibrato.

Oh come on, I love it. But John Tesh will always be my favorite, followed closely by Yanni!

Ditching that ALW/Phantom crap was one of the better things she ever did. more than a few years ago, just past her Phantom period, she lost a ton of weight, cut her hair in a badass short black bob and put out a really good Euro-dance album named Fly. Its definitely worth the download.
Her next effort was called Dive, which was unfortunately a bit prophetic and went along with a new look that wasnt nearly as hot.
After that came Harem and a few othrs and she was sort of back to the long curlyhaired English diva look. Oh well. She was hot for a while. She's still quite good though, with a great voice. Oh, and a HUGE rack. I've seen her live shows a few times from both in the audience and onstage/working and she really does have a great voice though. I mean, it's processed, everyones is, but its real to start with.
Anyway, if you're 40+ and still pulling off a feather dress and platform heels then you deserve points.

^ That particular combination of feather dress and platform heels certainly would look better pulled off. And preferably then burned and chucked in the bin.

If for some reason I should find myself talking about exfoliating, then most likely yes, I would use words like ‘exfoliate’.
I had to look up ‘loofa’, though, never heard of that before.
