In the printer folder of OS X therei s a folder PPDs. What is it used for?

PPD stanhds for Postscript Printer Description, I believe. It's sorta like a sub driver for postscript printers. Closing thread, if you want to go any further with this, create a new topic in MacOSX -Usage and Support
